Description

1903-S $20 MS64 PCGS. This lovely 20th century double eagle is exquisitely struck with highly lustrous peach-gold surfaces that sport tinges of light green. A few minute obverse marks account for the grade. The 1903-S has a mintage of under a million pieces, compared to the over 5 million produced at that Mint the next year. PCGS has graded only eight finer representatives (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)
