1904 Liberty Twenty, MS63 Prooflike
Elusive Contrasted Example

1904 $20 MS63 Prooflike NGC. A sharp strike complements pristine fields of this Prooflike Select Uncirculated 1904 Liberty double eagle. While the availability of Prooflike pieces is challenging through MS63, finer examples are conditionally rare with PCGS reporting only 19 finer in Prooflike (10/25). Mirror-like fields on prairie-gold surfaces contrast starkly with the luminous devices to produce a flashy and pleasing visual presentation. Light abrasions are as one would expect for the grade, with many consumed within the delightful cartwheel effect.
