1904 $20 MS65 NGC. CAC. Many 1904 double eagles have returned to America from a lengthy repose in European bank vaults, but most of those pieces display bagmarks from decades of careless storage. The present canary-gold Gem provides an exception, since the fields and devices are uncommonly free from abrasions.
