Pleasing 1904 Double Eagle, Gem Mint State
1904 $20 MS65 NGC. A fantastic yellow-gold representative with hints of olive patina in the fields. The razor-sharp strike is accented by dazzling cartwheel luster on each side. Several grade-defining grazes are noted in the fields. 1904 double eagles are common in nearly all grades, but become scarce in grades finer than Gem.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CY, PCGS# 9045, GSID# 9839)
