The prodigious mintage of the 1904 exceeded 6.2 million coins, enabling wonderful examples such as the present piece. The peach-gold surfaces are boldly struck and appear nearly flawless. A couple of tiny dark flecks on the reverse are minor in context of the obvious appeal.
