Description
Broadly Appealing 1904 Liberty Twenty, MS65
1904 $20 MS65 NGC. From a huge mintage of 6.2 million pieces, the 1904 Liberty Head double eagle is the most available date of the series in high grade. Investors, type collectors, and date collectors all compete for this popular issue. Many specimens were preserved in European banks and repatriated in later years. The present coin has an impressive strike and relatively unabraded surfaces. The lustrous, yellow-gold surfaces are accented with hints of crimson. Overall eye appeal is compelling. From The E.J.
