Description

Radiant 1904 Gem Double Eagle

1904 $20 MS65 PCGS. The Gem level of preservation is the highest grade most collectors will encounter when seeking to obtain a 1904 double eagle. The PCGS/NGC population decreases precipitously above MS65 to fewer than 340 coins, many of which are likely resubmissions or crossovers. The present Gem offering radiates pleasing luster from peach-gold surfaces imbued with hints of light green and its design features exhibit uniformly sharp delineation. A few small marks are insignificant. The coin is holdered with a green insert.
