Description

Popular Type 1904 Liberty Head Twenty, MS65

1904 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1904 Liberty Head double eagle is the most available date of the series, with an enormous mintage of 6.2 million pieces. Its availability in high grade makes the issue an especially attractive choice for type collectors. The present coin has a magnificent strike and bright, lustrous surfaces. The lovely yellow-gold fields are highlighted with enchanting shades of rose and crimson. Only a scattering of minor handling marks limits the grade.
