Description
Gem 1904-S Liberty Head Double Eagle
Only Three Coins Certified Finer
1904-S $20 MS65 NGC. Bright, satiny mint luster and a bold
strike are the outstanding characteristics of this attractive Gem
double eagle. The light greenish-gold surfaces are lightly abraded
and the visual appeal is outstanding. Although the 1904-S double
eagle is only slightly scarce in MS65, it is a formidable condition
rarity in higher grades. Currently only three coins have been
certified in higher numeric grades by NGC and PCGS combined
