1905 Liberty Head Twenty, MS62
Low-Mintage, Sought-After Issue
1905 $20 MS62 PCGS. CAC. The 1905 Liberty Head twenty is one
of the most desirable Type Three double eagles. From a small
mintage of just 58,919 pieces, the 1922-S is scarce in MS62 and
rare in finer condition. Currently, PCGS has certified only 55
examples in higher numeric grades (5/10). The present coin is well
detailed and lustrous, with minimal abrasions for the
grade.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26D2, PCGS# 9047, GSID# 9840)
