Description

1906 Liberty Twenty, MS62
Low-Mintage Issue

1906 $20 MS62 NGC. Soft luster and peach-gold overtones reside on both sides of this Liberty double eagle that survives from a small mintage of 69,596 coins. An exacting strike leaves strong definition on the design features, including Liberty's hair, the star centers, and the eagle's plumage. Some light marks and grazes occur on both faces, precluding a higher numerical grade.
