Scarce 1906 Double Eagle, MS62

1906 $20 MS62 PCGS. CAC. The 1906 double eagle, from a mintage of 69,596 business strikes, is scarce. Many pieces that have returned from Europe in recent decades are in the MS60 to MS61 range. The greenish-gold surfaces of this MS62 example display soft luster and sharply struck design features. Light marks limit the grade, but none are individually serious.(Registry values: N1793)
