Description

Sharp MS62 1906 Double Eagle

1906 $20 MS62 PCGS. The 1906 is one of the scarcer P-mint issue from late in the Liberty Head series, about on a par with the 1902 and 1905 issues, all of which saw five- rather than six-digit mintage figures. This specimen offers deep, rich orange-gold coloration, although a straight scrape in the field before Liberty's nose and another on her cheek require mention. A pretty and well-struck piece.
