Near-Gem 1906-S Liberty Twenty

1906-S $20 MS64 PCGS. This lustrous and impressively smooth Choice Liberty twenty has a good strike with only minor blending on the hair southwest of the Y in LIBERTY, which is also indistinct on business strikes of the type. An occasional minute aqua fleck is noted, but the overall look is that of a finer grade. But it is exceptionally difficult to locate an MS65, since PCGS and NGC combined have certified only seven such pieces (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)
