Description

1907-S Twenty Dollar, Standout MS64+
Anachronistic S-Mint Liberty Head Issue

1907-S $20 MS64+ NGC. Despite a mintage of nearly 2.2 million coins, high-Mint State examples of the anachronistic 1907-S Liberty Head twenty are not that easy to find, certainly not in the grade of this piece. Both the 1907-D and 1907-S when found, however, are extremely well-made. Sweeping luster and boldly struck honey-gold surfaces make this a standout coin. Census: 32 in 64+, 19 finer (7/16).
