Description
1840 AU 50 PCGS. An above average example of this scarce early Coronet ten. The average grade for the 1840 is VF 28 as computed by David Akers in his work on the series. This is an original coin with a bright golden appearance. Well struck except on Liberty's hair curls, the small marks or abrasions present are only those consistent with the grade.
