Shining 1841 Eagle, MS60

1841 $10 MS60 NGC. Like the other early Coronet eagle issues, the 1841 is a condition rarity in strict Mint State. Though heavily abraded, this well-defined orange-gold piece shows no trace of wear. A small alloy spot appears at the top of the bun of hair, and reflectivity is evident at the margins. Census: 3 in 60, 8 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N4719)
