Description
1842 AU 50 PCGS. Large Date. The Large and Small Date varieties were minted in approximately equal numbers, but in better grades the Large Date is a more difficult and more costly item. This is a very pleasing coin whose surfaces are a bright yellow-gold. The strike is sharp in all areas and there are no mentionable flaws other than many small contact marks seen overall. Trends $2,050 in AU 50.
