1842-O $10 AU50 PCGS. Round O. A partly lustrous and richly detailed New Orleans ten. A cigar-shaped lintmark (as made) is noted near the coronet tip, and the fields display scattered small marks. A scant 27,400 pieces were struck. Encapsulated in a green label holder. Population: 16 in 50, 19 finer (11/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 262N, PCGS# 8587, GSID# 9430)
