Surprisingly Elusive Issue
1843 $10 AU53 PCGS. Despite an adequate mintage of 75,462
pieces, the 1843 Liberty eagle is surprisingly difficult to locate,
especially in high grade. This impressive AU53 example is lightly
worn and moderately abraded, with light greenish-gold surfaces that
retain traces of original mint luster. Population: 5 in 53, 5 finer
