Borderline Uncirculated 1843 Eagle
1843 $10 AU58 NGC. Breen-6861, his "very rare" triple-punched date. Coin World's Coin Values separately lists a Doubled Date variety, which is unpriced above AU50. Traces of misplaced dates are visible on Liberty's neck. This sharply struck example has dazzling peripheral luster, and is minimally abraded save for a faint straight line between the right (facing) wing and the upper arrow.
