Description
PCGS 1843-O AU 50. Because of its substantial mintage of 175,162 pieces, the '43-O is considered a common date. But in high grades (AU and better) it is really quite difficult to locate. This piece has the numerous small abrasions often seen on other coins of this issue. The surfaces show a rich golden-olive color and the piece is sharply struck at the peripheries, with only slight weakness in the centers. Trends $2,100.
