Charming 1844-O Eagle, AU55
1844-O $10 AU55 NGC. Plenty of luster accents the yellow-orange surfaces of this minimally marked representative. The stars are a trifle weak, as is Liberty's hair, which is typical for this issue. Although more than 100,000 pieces were minted, the 1844-O can be difficult to locate in About Uncirculated. This piece would make an excellent type coin.
