Pleasing 1844-O Gold Eagle AU58 NGC
1844-O $10 AU58 NGC. While a relatively common coin in VF and even XF condition, the '44-O gold eagle is a condition scarcity in AU, and is very rare in Mint State. The current specimen displays bright greenish-gold surfaces, with nice luster retained in the recessed areas. The design elements exhibit excellent definition, except for weakness in the hair over Liberty's ear. A few small contact marks scattered over each side do not distract.
