Interesting 1845 Eagle, Unc Details

1845 $10 --Graffiti--NCS. Unc Details. This crisply struck, if lightly abraded earlier Coronet eagle has no trace of wear, and the yellow-gold surfaces show strong reflectivity. The obverse fields have cursive letters that spell out "Emma" and the initials "ESB," while the reverse has an X scratched above the eagle's head. An intriguing piece that hints at an enduring story.(Registry values: N7079)
