1845 $10 AU53 NGC. This is a date typically available in grades through XF, but beyond this it rapidly becomes a grade rarity. This is a true AU example, with only light rub appearing on the highpoint of the hair above the ear, and in the bun, with excellent bright golden surfaces on which only light contact marks appear. Population: 2 in 53, 4 finer (9/01).
