Description
1845-O $10 XF40 NGC. Breen-6870. The date is obviously repunched south. A well struck and still-luminous orange-gold exemplar, lightly marked overall with a degree of even wear. Though a scrape appears to the left of Liberty's neck, the overall visual appeal is solid. One of only 47,500 pieces struck for this elusive New Orleans eagle issue.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 262V, PCGS# 8593, GSID# 9433)
