Possible 1845/44-O Overdate
1845-O XF 45 PCGS. Possible 1845/44-O Overdate. This appears to be an overdate as the 4 in the date shows evidence of a previously punched 4 well to the left of the final punch. In the lower loop of the 5 there is what appears to be the downstroke of a 4, just as listed in the Breen reference under B-6871. The surfaces are otherwise well struck and show a few small, scattered abrasions.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 262V, PCGS# 8593, GSID# 9433)
