1846 $10 AU55 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. Bright luster fills the legends and surrounds individual stars. Neither side has any individually consequential marks. Scarce in all grades due to a mintage of only 20,095 pieces. The NGC website records five examples with pedigrees to the ill-fated S.S. Republic.
