Description
1846 $10 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. The 1846 is yet another underrated Philadelphia issue in the series. Only 20,095 pieces were struck, and essentially all went into commerce. Between 200 and 300 pieces have survived, and PCGS has yet to certify an example as Mint State. The present straw-gold example is glossy from a wipe, and displays field abrasions consistent with limited circulation.Auction Info
