Description
1846 $10 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. This bright straw-gold example is boldly detailed but unnaturally glossy in the fields due to cleaning. Heavy abrasions on each side are typical of 1840s gold pieces in the AU grade level, but none on this coin are individually significant. The 1846 is a scarce date in AU condition and genuinely rare in Mint State. From The Gotham City Collection.
