Description
PCGS 1846 XF 40. A much scarcer coin than even the low mintage of 20,095 pieces would indicate. The 1846 is also a condition rarity with most of the known survivors in the VF grade range. This is an average coin for the grade with only small, insignificant marks on either side and slight softness of strike in the centers. Medium orange-gold color with an alloy spot at the top of the reverse. Trends $2,500.
