1846 $10 AU 53 PCGS. A scarce and underrated issue, the 1846 is seldom seen above the VF or XF grade level. We have handled very few examples over the past ten years, this being one of the finest. Only one Uncirculated piece has been graded by NGC and PCGS (that being an MS 60 by NGC). The surfaces on this coin show numerous small abrasions and the devices are well defined on each side. Trends $5,250 in AU 50, $10,500 in AU 55.
