Original AU53 1846/5-O Ten
1846/5-O $10 AU53 NGC. Designated merely as an 1846-O by NGC, but the date location confirms the overdate. The mintmark is lightly repunched north. This is a moderately abraded and original example with radiant lemon-gold color and glimpses of dirt in protected areas. Overdate or not, the 1846-O is significantly scarcer than its '47-O successor.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 262X, Variety PCGS# 8596, Base PCGS# 8595, GSID# 9435)
