Choice XF 1846/5-O Ten
1846/5-O $10 XF45 PCGS. Designated as a normal date 1846-O by PCGS, but the present lot is the variety listed in the Guide Book as an 1846-O 6 Over 5. The mintmark is centered between the EN in TEN. The various varieties of 1846-O eagles divide a low mintage of 81,780 pieces. Liberty's forehead and the eagle's legs are softly brought up, but the remainder of the design is crisp.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 262X, Variety PCGS# 8596, Base PCGS# 8595, GSID# 9435)
