    1847 $10 AU58 NGC. CAC. Rounded Bun subtype. No shield ring. An apricot-gold near-Mint Liberty type coin. Lightly abraded and only mildly luminous. The war with Mexico was likely one reason for the increased mintages of eagles in 1847.
