1848 $10 AU58 NGC. No Motto tens are known for their scarcity at the near-Mint level, and the 1848 is a better issue relative to its 1847 predecessor. This is an impressive example, since luster dominates all but the open fields, and marks are absent save for a minute obverse rim nick at 11:30.From The Emil Ross Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
