Not Sold Description
1848-O $10 --Cleaned--ANACS. XF Details, Net VF 20. With a limited mintage of only 35,850 pieces and widespread circulation throughout the antebellum South, this O-mint eagle is infrequently encountered within the numismatic marketplace. While numerous hairlines are an unfortunate companion to both sides, the features display suitable remaining detail despite noticeable wear. The unnaturally bright, yellow-gold sheen deepens to green-gold highlights in the protected areas. Despite its impairment, this piece represents a fleeting opportunity for the budget-minded gold specialist.
