1849 $10 AU55 PCGS. The 1 in the date is widely repunched, with the base of a previous 1 far above the base of the primary upright. This example is well-struck except for centers on stars 1, 2, and 13. Luster remains across the somewhat prooflike surfaces, especially on the obverse. We note trivial contact marks and chatter over the bright-yellow fields. Population: 37 in 55, 67 finer (6/17).(Registry values: N991)
