1849 $10 AU58 PCGS. Breen-6847. The date is clearly repunched southwest. Often confused with Breen-6848, the 1849/1848 'overdate.' A few stars are softly struck, but the major devices are needle-sharp and show little evidence of highpoint friction. Semi-prooflike luster is especially prominent on the reverse.
