Description
1849 $10 AU58 NGC. There aren't many reasonably common Eagles from the 1840s, but this is one of them. This coin shows just enough rub on the lock of hair above the ear to miss a Mint State designation. The surfaces still blush with golden reflectivity despite a generous coating of abrasions.
