Original AU 50 1850 Small Date Ten

1850 Small Date AU 50 PCGS. At the AU 50 level this piece is tied with several others at the lower end of the condition census. The olive-golden color of the coin is accented by an overlay of gray patina on the highpoints of the design. A bit softly struck on each side, the most distinguishing feature for pedigree purposes is a long streak of grease (as struck) in the upper reverse field that intersects with the back of the head of the eagle.
