Description
Infrequently Encountered AU 1850-O Eagle
1850-O $10 AU50 PCGS. A bold Liberty Eagle that has greenish-gold color and a pleasing percentage of remaining luster across the borders and devices. A small stain separates the 85 in the date, and a few specks of struck-in grease are noted on the upper obverse. Only 57,500 pieces were struck, and since these were required in commerce, most survivors are in XF and lower grades.
