Description
Challenging 1850-O Eagle, AU50
1850-O $10 AU50 PCGS. The 1850-O ten dollar is usually seen in circulated condition, rarely above Extremely Fine, and almost never in Mint State (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). Peach-gold patina with hints of light green bathes both sides of this AU50 example, and traces of luster reside in the protected areas. Generally well defined, save for softness in some of the star centers. A few minor marks are not detractive. Housed in a green-label holder. Population: 13 in 50, 10 finer (7/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2639, PCGS# 8605, GSID# 9440)
