Description
1850-O $10 XF45 NGC. A well pronounced coin, some of the elements being subdued by a generous peppering of abrasion marks dominating the surfaces of this example. The mintmark is softly struck, but the eagle is bold. Minor indications of copper spotting are present. This is a challenging date, becoming a condition rarity in grades exceeding XF. NGC has only graded 27 in this grade, with 25 pieces graded higher (8/01).
