Description

1851 $10 AU58 NGC. CAC. Although the 1851 eagle had a mintage of 176,328 pieces, there are few surviving examples in high grade, with NGC and PCGS combined having assigned the AU58 grade to only 34 examples, with a mere 27 coins achieving the Mint State level (3/14). Hues of gold and peach combine to provide this near-Mint example with nice eye appeal. A few minor rim nicks appear on each side.(Registry values: N1793)
