Description
Condition Rarity 1852 Eagle, MS60
1852 $10 MS60 NGC. Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth believe the 1852 eagle is rare in Mint State grades. The present coin features lovely orange-gold color, with frosty mint luster and excellent eye appeal. The coin has a decent strike, often weak on this issue, and a single scratch on Liberty's cheek probably determines the grade. Census: 6 in 60, 23 finer (12/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 263C, PCGS# 8608, Greysheet# 9373)
