Early No Motto Ten
1852 $10 MS61 NGC. No Motto tens are noted for their rarity
in Uncirculated grades. The straw-gold surfaces of the present
piece display only a few visible abrasions. The right reverse
displays a wire rim and the major devices are well struck. The
stars were deeply hubbed and as a result have softly defined
centers. Census: 23 in 61, 5 finer (6/12).Ex: New York Signature (Heritage, 12/2011), lot 4652.(Registry values: N2998)
