Description
1852 $10 MS 60 NGC. Pale golden surfaces display the normal softness on the obverse stars and are kept from a more impressive Mint State rating by a multitude of scuffy contact marks in the fields. Relatively few Mint State examples survive despite a mintage of greater than 263,000 pieces and its importance as a No Motto type coin is its biggest attribute. Population: 1 in 60, 11 finer (6/99).
