Description
1852-O $10 AU53 NGC. The 1852-O eagle is a low mintage issue (18,000 pieces) that is seldom seen in high grades. Mint State examples are virtually impossible to find, which makes AU pieces especially desirable. Flashy luster shines beneath the delightful yellow-gold patina. The surfaces are minimally abraded. The stars have weak centrils, but the rest of the details are crisply defined. Census: 20 in 53, 29 finer (8/09).From The Mulkin Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
